Numbers always made sense to me, even during my graduation days, when everything else did not. Many people I was surrounded by during college were confused about what they even wanted their careers to look like, but for me, it somehow clicked that the future I wanted for myself required finance.

I did not take a sudden decision to join finance education. The understanding grew slowly and steadily across topics I studied, ideas I grasped well, and the curiosity about how money, markets, and businesses really work.

I started with BMS. It built my foundation in business and finance. That is where things started getting real for me. Everything in BMS, accounting, financial management, and economics has ceased to be just classroom subjects anymore. They became part of me, something I thoroughly enjoyed studying.

So, I chose ASBS PGDM in Finance. It was just like the next natural step I wanted to take. But the real change did not come from textbook theory. It came from my real-world applications of finance.

I worked on a hedge fund project, built a financial model, calculate NAV. I understood investor reporting. I realized that it was not just about numbers anymore. It was about realizing how finance works in real world. I decided that that this is where I belong.

I would recommend that every student do an internship during their MBA. Every student must take the internship very seriously. It builds the foundation for the full-time job. Here is my internship experience as a ZED Facilitator. Walking into an actual business environment, working on MSME certification, understanding compliance, and efficiency. I realized that Finance is not just about calculations. It is about the impact you create by applying finance.

And between all of this, I also found myself growing in ways I never expected. Becoming the first female General Secretary was an achievement, but also a responsibility. It pushed me out of my comfort zone. It taught me leadership skills, built confidence, and taught me how to handle challenges head-on under pressure.

I published a research paper on microfinance awareness. During the process, I learned to be patient and explore depth.

I realize that this journey was never easy. It was not only about building a career, but also about building myself as a professional who is prepared to face the real-world challenges.

Every project, every role, every challenge I engaged with made me more confident, more aware, and ready for the real world.

Lastly…I am still learning, still growing, and this will continue lifelong. If there is one thing I have understood, it is this: You do not need to have everything resolved instantly. But when you find something that feels right, hold on to it, explore it, and give it your best, because that is how confusion turns into clarity, and clarity leads to a successful career.
